Heidi Klum talks about her transformation from brunette to blonde
Contrary to popular belief and from billboards and magazines everywhere, supermodel Heidi Klum is a not a blonde.
She is in fact a natural brunette. The now blonde bombshell spoke to Yahoo! omg! about why she decided to leave her natural hair color behind.
One of my first big jobs was a perfume campaign for Givenchy, and they actually wanted a blonde girl with blue eyes, so they colored my hair blonde and gave me blue contact lenses, which at the time was a very unusual thing to do. It took forever for me to get the [contact lenses] in and out because I dont wear contact lenses!
It was later requested by photographer Gilles Bensimon, that she go blonde for the cover of Elle magazine, and the blonde locks eventually became a permanent fixture.
Now that Klum, the new representative of Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy, has experienced life as both a blonde and a brunette, the question had to be asked, do blondes really have more fun?
I dont know if blondes have more fun, she told omg!, but as a blonde you do stand out more and its just because I think that the eye naturally is attracted to brighter things than it is to darker things.
If you are curious as to what Klum looked like with her natural locks, the supermodel tweeted a picture from a modeling shoot that she did in 1992.
