Two Project Runway Contestants Quit During Filming

Heidi Klums Project Runway is currently filming its 10th season, and the contestants are already crumbling under the pressure. The Lifetime show lost two designers in one day. I said dramatic, I meant dramatic. One female contestant disappeared overnight. She just ran off in the middle of the night, a source told the New York Post. The next morning she wasnt in her bed, her suitcase was gone. Producers went to her home, and her doorman said she was upstairs but didnt want to see anyone.

The source said the woman was paranoid after being placed in the bottom set of contestants afte! r her la st challenge.

Placed in the bottom the first week, flee in the middle of the night that seems appropriate and reasonable. No?

Another contestant, a male, had a breakdown. The source said, He had an episode as the show filmed at Parsons School for Design. A psychologist was brought in to talk to him, but he seemed too nervous and it was decided he should leave the show.

What exactly is Heidi Klum doing to the designers this season? Project Runway has certainly seen on-set meltdowns in the past, but these reactions are awfully extreme. We lost two designers in one day. This has never happened, says the source. They seem to be under a lot more pressure.
