Heidi Klum and Seal make peace to spend Christmas together--with their children and Martin Kristen

After their messy split, Project Runway host Heidi Klum and her estranged husband, Seal, have made peace for the sake of their four children, and will reunite for Christmas.

Klum and Seal, who split in January and filed for divorce in April, have been talking regularly and are looking to be civil parents for the sake of their kids Leni, Henry, Johan and Lou sources tell us.

Seal is in the middle of a European tour, but sources tell us hes now in Los Angeles, as are Klum, her children and Klums boyfriend/bodyguard, Martin Kristen.

Theyre trying to be co-parents and show up for their children, said a friend of the couple, adding they are putting the knives away in order to do so.

The split between Klum and Seal, who were married for six years, turned ugly after news broke that Klum was dating Kristen.

In September, Seal sounded off about their relationship, telling a Web site: I would have thought Heidi would have showed a little bit more class and at least wait until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help.

Afterwards, Klum fired back on Katie Courics daytime talk show, saying: I dont know if were the greatest friends right now, especially because of the things that he said.

But after Klum spent Thanksgiving in LA without Seal, it seems the two have made peace for the sake of their brood.

Another source told us: They are trying to work it out, mainly for the kids, and added Seal has been doing everything to get her back. They have been talking on the phone regularly.

While some friends speculate that Klum and Seal could reunite, on Friday Klum returned home from vacation where she was recently photogr! aphed sunbathing topless and was spotted out in LA with Kristen. A rep for Klum told Page Six, rumors of them getting back together are 100 percent not true.
