Kate Upton, Beyonce, Heidi Klum and Other Celebrities Who Have Been On Sports Illustrated Covers
Kate Upton is on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue yet again, but her photo shoot for the cover wasnt quite as fun as the one for last years cover.
The model, the camera crew, and the magazines editors made their way all the way to Antarctica to capture the perfect picture for the publication. 20-year-old Upton, who wears nothing but a white bikini bottom and an unzipped white parka on the cover, had to brave subzero temperatures on the continent for her role as the cover girl. Upton even faced frostbite and hypothermia for the shoot. She admitted, When I came back, I was losing my hearing and eyesight. My body was shutting down because it was working so hard to keep me warm.
Upton enjoyed the experience nonetheless. She calls Antarctica one of the most beautiful places Ive ever been to. Sports Illustrated editors were happy with the results too, gushing, everything about the picture is perfect. Plus, they gave Upton plenty of praise for not being a whiny model!
