It just doesn't get cuter than this: Heidi Klum took her two dolled-up daughters, Leni, 8 and Lou, 2, to the Children's Museum of Arts in New York on Tuesday. And what would a ladies-only excursion be without a little makeup? The "Project Runway" host and doting mom, 39, indulged her little fashionistas in some dress-up, as they were all spotted in bright red lipstick and chic hairstyles. (Start 'em young!)

While quite fashion-forward, Heidi's little ones aren't the first celebrity kids to play the little lady. (Since age 5, Suri Cruise has strolled around town several bodyguards deep with a purse, heels, deep-red lipstick and even a matronly draped scarf.) Many have been quick to criticize tots sporting makeup, but we think there's room for a little harmless dress-up. Besides, don't children learn best through play?
