Heidi Klum: There are worse things in life than a separation
It came as a big shock earlier in the year when seemingly solid (as a rock) couple Seal and Heidi Klum announced they were separating after seven years of marriage and several romantic bashes in which they renewed their wedding vows in front of family and friends. Following the breakdown of their relationship, model Heidi has admitted that she would be reluctant to marry again, although shes adamant that there are worse things in life than a separation.
Speaking to German newspaper Bild about future relationships, she said, I don't know if I'll get married again Im a dreamer. I loved our annual fairy tale weddings that were our big family parties. But sadly, it somehow didn't work out.
There are worse things in life than a separation. I think everyone should work on their dreams. I try to. I look into the future, concentrate on my family and I have to say that I'm happy.
Heidi also denied rumours that shes dating her Germany's Next Top Model colleague, Thomas Hayo. She declared, He is not, nor was he ever my boyfriend. I think he is a great guy, but not for me.
Speaking to Piers Morgan after their announced separation, Seal said that his love for Heidi had not waned one iota. He explained, You can never say never. I can't speak for my wife and I'm not going to sit here and BS you and say we haven't had problems. Of course we have had problems, otherwise why have we split up?
This is not a charade. We have problems, we have issues, but to our credit we have always been able to talk about them, to confront them. I don't know at this point if I would like to get back together. If it were that easy, we would still be together, that is the reality.
Heidi and Seal have four children together.
