Heidi Klum forced to cancel Halloween bash because of Hurricane Sandy

It looks like we wont get to see what crazy Halloween costume supermodel Heidi Klum has in store for photographers this year. The Project Runway star announced Tuesday that she has been forced to cancel her annual Halloween bash following Hurricane Sandy.

Klum sent a statement to ET Online, expressing sympathy to those who were effected by the storm, which hit the northeast Monday.

I hope you & your loved ones are safe after this devastating storm in the New York City area, she wrote. For obvious reasons, I am canceling my Halloween party scheduled for tomorrow night. I hope to postpone for the near future... maybe a very Haunted Christmas? I hope everyone understands and stays safe.

Klum also took to Twitter to tell fans that she had to cancel, posting a photo of herself standing outside.

Hope you & your loved ones are safe after the storm, she added. Canceling my Halloween party...postponing to a haunted Christmas.

According to Starpulse, Klum was hoping to go as an Egyptian queen for her first Halloween bash following her split from husband Seal.

Klums annual bash is typically a major event for celebrities in New York, with many showing off wild and expensive costumes. Last year, Klum dressed as what she ca! lled the Visible Woman.
