Jennifer Lopez Vs. Heidi Klum - Who Wore it Better in Battle of the Thigh-High Slit Dresses?
This week in Paris, Jennifer Lopez made a bold statement in a red dress that featured a thigh-high slit. JLo is not the only one to rock the thigh-high dresses. Heidi Klum looked stunning at the Emmy Awards in her sea-foam green dress.
Who wore it better: JLo or Heidi?
Jennifer Lopez
Jen made an ironic statement wearing a Republican-red dress at a Democratic fundraiser in Paris. Still, the color provided a striking evening look. The shape of the dress also showcased her fabulous curves. The singer matched the dress with deep red lipstick that brightened her face and gave her a healthy glow.
Jen completed the ensemble with black strappy stilettos adorned with gold charms, and a small black clutch. Her hairstyle provided some Old Hollywood glamour with her sleek full curls.
Heidi Klum
Meanwhile, Heidi was easily one of the best-dressed ladies at the 2012 Emmy Awards. The "Project Runway" host looked stunning in an sea-foam dress. The plunging V-shaped neckline, tapered waistline, and thigh-high slit showcased her statuesque figure and toned legs.
Heidi complemented her Alexandre Vauthier dress with Charlotte Olympia heels, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch.
The Verdict
Who wore it better? Both ladies looked stunning, but I'm going with Heidi on this one because the color of her dress was so unusual. I also loved the detail of the s! hoes. The turquoise studs added some texture to this solid-colored ensemble.
The light color and the flowing skirt also provided versatility. While JLo was clearly dressed for an evening affair, Heidi's look was appropriate either day or night.
