Heidi Klum and Seal to divorce

After seven years of marriage, the power-couple that was Heidi Klum and Seal has decided to split.

In a statement to People, the couple announced, While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.

The statement continued, We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.

Klum and Seal have four children, three of them biological, and the fourth, Klums daughter from another marriage.

TMZ was the first media outlet to report on the couples impending divorce. An article was posted to their website on Saturday.

According to the Herald Sun, in spite of the divorce, Seal is still due to take part in the Australian version of The Voice. An insider stated, He will be [in Sydney] to get started on The Voice when he needs to be.
