Heidi Klum and Seal have officially announced they are separating after almost seven years of marriage, E! News can confirm.
After days of speculation, the couple has spoken out about the split.

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years ofmarriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate," the duo says in a joint statement. "Wehave had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationshipand continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. Thisis an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our childrenremains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. Wethank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. Andfor our childrens sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."
The model/Project Runway host and the singer andtied the knotMay 10, 2005, after Sealpopped the questionto her in an igloo he built at a Canadian ski resort for the occasion.
Along with Klum's daughter Leni from an earlier relationship, the couple have three kids together, Henry, 6,Johan, 5 andLou, 2.
