Heidi Klum: I Was Too Curvy And Too Busty To Be A Model

As difficult as it is to believe, Heidi Klum swears that she was once considered too curvy to be a model.

I was too curvy and too busty and a little too short. And I was a little bit self-conscious about it, Heidi tells Allure magazine. I was by no means heavy, I just -- well, you have hips and boobs and thats it. Haute couture, you dont really see girls with big boobs. And I always wanted to b a model, so I had to say OK, youre going to find other things to do in this industry -- or its maybe not my industry.

The 38-year-old mother of four whos featured on the cover of Allures May 2012 issue also reveals that shes never considered going under the knife to improve her looks. She says: Im proud to be able to say, in this day and age, I havent done anything. Everyone has a view of whats pretty and whats not pretty, and [surgery] just doesnt look pretty to me.
