Heidi Klum Lights Empire State Building In Honour Of Blood Cancer Charity
38-year-old supermodel Heidi Klum is asked to light the Empire State Building for Bone Marrow Donor Centre, DKMS. "I'm especially excited that I get to light the Empire State Building today in red in honour of DKMS", she says before being presented with a scaled-down model of the Building.
The charity was founded in Germany (hence the acronym which stands for Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei) in the fight against blood cancer. Heidi's other charity work includes visiting patients at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital and last year she led Walk For Kids to raise funds for the hospital. New York City, USA - 26.04.2012
