WENNIt was all about kicking off the festive season in dazzling sparkling gowns at the American Music Awards last night, with Taylor Swift leading the way in a shimmery floral embroidered Zuhair Murad gown, but other celebrities sizzled just as well.
39-year-old German supermodel Heidi Klum walked the red carpet at the at the Nokia Theatre LA Live last night in a beautiful high-neck Alexander Vauthier dress, inspired by Oriental designs with a sexy thigh-high split, showing a lot of leg.

Heidi looked incredible in the sultry gold number which exposed her catwalk ready figure, teaming! the statement dress with matching opulent golden Christian Louboutin stilettos, accessorising with Lorraine Schwartz hoop earrings with her blonde hair scraped back into a slick updo.
Meanwhile, smiley Hayden Panettiere also pitched up at the awards in metallics, wearing a short 1920s inspired pearl shimmery number which brought out her inner fabulous flapper.

The 22-year-old Nashville star brought in the flapper trend with subtle ease to the bash, adding a golden clutch back and open-toe pearl metallic heels to complete her look, accessorising with Jacqueline Nerguizian jewels and her hair worn in a loose updo.
But Elisha Cuthbert was one of the only actresses to go all out when it came to bold metallic gowns, making quite the statement in a reflective floor-length Georges Chakra gown teamed with a Jimmy Choo classy black clutch.
He's Just Not That Int! o You star Ginnifer Goodwin also dazzled on the Hollywood red carpet, wearing a pastel pink Oscar de la Renta dress emblazoned with diaphanous diamantes and a fisherman's neck, teaming it with Jimmy Choo strappy silver heels and a Judith Lieber clutch bag.
