Heidi Klum Ditches American Music Awards After Parties For McDonald's

Who needs caviar and champagne when really a burger and fries washed down with a Coke fills the spot?

Heidi Klum didnt even try pretending she was interested in parting with fellow stars following the American Music Awards 2012.

After enduring a three-hour ceremony, not to mention a long red carpet process before hand, the model couldnt wait to tuck into some junk food on Sunday night.

The 39-year-old stopped at McDonalds for a cheeseburger and chips and was joined by her friend and Project Runway executive producer Desiree Gruber.

The German star wrote on her Twitter page as she posed with the nosh: Finishing off a great night at @theAMAs with a great friend, @desireegruber & a great meal from @McDonalds! #AMAs.

The blonde earlier featured in the ceremony by introducing Pinks performance dressed in a gold brocade frock by designer Alexander Vauthier.
