Model mom Heidi Klum braves bad weather to watch her son play football

A dressed down Heidi Klum endured cold wind and rain to watch her young son play flag football in Brentwood, California on Saturday.

Despite donning a camouflage jacket there was no mistaking the statuesque blonde German model as she stood on the sidelines of her seven-year-old son Henry's match.

Even without make-up, the ex-Victoria's Secret Angel did not look like you average soccer mom.

Wearing an outfit that would make most women look frumpy, the 39-year-old still managed to look cool.

To protect herself against Los Angeles' cold wind and rain, the ex-wife of singer Seal, wore an over-sized hooded jacket with red trim, ripped tight black jeans, grey high-top sneakers and a black scarf with a blue tribal motif.

Making sure her son performed at his best, Heidi packed sports drinks and even gave him a little sideline pep talk.

The mother of four - Leni, eight, who she had with the managing director of Renault's Formula One team, Flavio Briatore, and her three children with ex Seal, Henry, Johan Riley, five, and three-year-old Lou - made sure to chat with other children's mums as the rain came pelting down.

The Project Runway host recently confirmed to Katie Couric that she is having a relationship with her bodyguard, Martin Kirsten, following her split from former husband Seal in January.

She told the talk show host: 'I trust him with my children's life. He's a great man, you know, and we just got to know each other from a completely different side.'

Heidi denied she had started the relationship with her bodyguard while still with Seal, despite Martin working for the couple for four years.

Another talk show host wasn't letting the model get off so easy.

This week Wendy Williams branded Heidi's relationship 'disgusting'.

On her show Wendy said: '[Kirsten has] worked for Heidi in the family for ! four year! s. Seal, you know what that means - and not just when you were out of town. I don't think this is a new relationship, do you?'

'It pains me to report stories like this when the woman, in my mind, is clearly in the wrong.'

Williams then encouraged the singer to make a grab for his former wife's money. 'You don't let the finances go with this divorce. I don't know how much you're worth, but she's worth more. You need half.'
