Heidi Klum: I never looked at another man when I was with Seal

The pair had kept quiet about the reasons for their split after seven years of marriage, until the former supermodel was photographed with Martin Kristen in Sardinia earlier his month.

Rumours suggested they were romantically linked and Seal reacted angrily to the news.

The Kiss From A Rose singer told TMZ: 'I would have preferred Heidi to have shown a little bit more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help.'

He later issued a statement clarifying the remark, which he said did not imply his wife had cheated while they were together, but referred to the fact they were not yet officially divorced.

Heidi has now given her side of the story during an interview for Katie Couric's new US chat show, Katie.

The footage will not be aired until Wednesday, but according to the New York Post, she said: 'It was a unique choice of words ... I'm used to it. Other people aren't.

'When we were together, I never looked at another man.'

Heidi apparently also expressed a desire to remain friends with Seal, who is the father of three of her children.
